TOO MANY CLOTHES, YET NOTHING TO WEAR?
We’ve all been there, staring at a full closet but feeling like we need more. This cycle of overconsumption isn’t just overwhelming; it’s one of the biggest challenges in the fashion industry.
So what is circular fashion?
The term circular fashion was introduced in Sweden in 2014, but what does it really mean? In a true circular system, nothing ends up in landfill. Clothes are designed to last, made to be repaired, and use biodegradable or recyclable fabrics.
At Ottway, we believe in creating timeless pieces that don’t just sit in your wardrobe - they’re worn, loved, and made to be part of your journey.
THOUGHTFUL DESIGN FROM THE START
Before a garment is even sewn, we ask ourselves:
We curate only 200 garments per design run, restocking only if an item sells out. This means:
In seven years, not a single Ottway piece has gone to landfill.
NATURAL FIBRES AND LONGEVITY
We choose materials that age beautifully and stand the test of time:

Why? Because the longer you wear your favourite pieces, the less you need to buy. And when they do reach the end of their life? They biodegrade naturally.
BEYOND FASHION: OUR SOLAR INITIATIVE
Sustainability doesn’t stop with our fabrics. The Solar Sunny Days Initiative has helped install over 1,100 solar panels across Australia
